Library trip

Our teacher told us to meet in the library to explore everything the library has to offer. At first I we took a walk around the library Wendy point out where everything is. I really like that because I really didn’t know where nothing was, and didn’t even know who to ask. While walking around I notice a lot of corner I could go to study on my school work quietly. When Wendy took us up stair to a computer room all I can was sleep time it was going to be a boring lecture. I end up leaning   how to find all kind of book. She guide us step by step where to go to look for books online and some article. She was very helpful and really nice as well and she loves what she doing. Always had a smile on her face and every cheerful. She shows me once I find the book on line how I can look for it, by showing me a map of the library and what each number mean in the map. We also had this work sheet we had to do in class that part was not fun at all or enjoying to do. Searching for article was easier than I thought you first but a word down for an example “love” it would find any article that have to do with love. I didn’t like how some article wasn’t publish yet but they still appear and have a date on it. Wendy told me what when it show a date that the date it will be appearing on line. There a lot of step you need to take I didn’t like that as well. I didn’t not know that the library pays tons of money to get information Google does not offer, But I end up checking out a book in I read it over the break “ The Autonomy Myth a theory of Dependency” by Martha Albertson Finemam one of the chapter I like was 5 talking about the Future of Marriage. How is marriage itself as a legal constructing that carries with it significant societal benefits.

My Perfect World

In your own words define perfect world. In my mind I am always living in a perfect world. My perfect world is a world in which there is balance a world without pain or fear where everyone understands one another, a world without war. My perfect world includes situations where the rich don’t get richer by at the expenses of making the poor poorer. Earlier, our parents were the ones who taught us right from wrong. Nowadays, the youth are being misled by the media who glorifies extravagant and sometimes inappropriate behaviors. This makes the next generations of people worse off than the earlier set which is the opposite of how it should be. The generations should get being better and better than the generations of the past but that isn’t often the case nowadays. When the media inappropriately teaches your children, they children run a risk of being wrongly influenced. Then, when the parents finally notices the behavior of their kid, they become shocked and often the parents become the bad guy as they straighten out the child.

My perfect world is one in which I can wake up and scream to the top of my lungs without anyone thinking I am weird. As a child I would dream about ponies and princesses but now I dream about ending poverty and starvation, which is almost impossible to do. In my perfect world, the truth is not scared and the truth doesn’t hurt people because they are mature enough to admit when they are wrong and strong enough to take the blame for their own actions. In this world, they are strong enough to be able to apologize for something wrong and are able to say “my bad” or “I am sorry” about that. In this world they would be honorable and respectful. There would be no one to twist, turn and skewer the truth to captivate people’s minds in to being dumb, deaf and blind to the true reality.

Face Your Fears

The main topic is fear; everyone had faced a fear in their life or in their daily routine. We don’t speak up when we got an idea, we think too much of what people say, we run away from or problem instead of facing it. The biggest fear is we discourage ourselves to do better. “Put a name to your fears helps cut down to size” (Twyla Tharp 31).we must realize what kind of fear and start working on it. I’m not a very good writer. I don’t know how to put my taught on paper. I sit here and come up with different ideas but actually writing it down that something different. I fear that people is going to laugh at me, they going to take me as a joke. I know the saying you don’t do things for people you only do things for yourself. My fears start kicking in not letting me put my taught down and letting me to give up. Doing blog every week is kind of stressful to me. Sometime I get some great idea like how I’m going to start it but when it comes to writing it down my brain just shot off. I know practice make perfect. In the book it say “every day you practice you’re one day further from being good” also if it something you want to do make some time for it..

CREATIVE HABIT

The New York Times Bestseller, Twyla Tharp the Creative Habit learn it and use it for life .from reading this book I realized that there are few things I need to change about myself. In the book it stated that it is easy for someone to procrastinate on things if what they doing is changeling or not interested. Also do something that would get their mind of the things that need to be done. I see myself doing things at the last minute. I didn’t know the important of routine until I read this book. In fact you need a routine to keep a basic life style or you end up always in a rush. A daily routine become second nature, discipline morphs into habit. A routine is like a creative process you must work on it for you to be better.one of the problem I end up facing from time to time is having an idea on my mind and trying to create it on paper. I get really mad and less motivated.th author talked about fear, the key is to learn how to keep free floating fears from paralyzing you before you’ve begun. I truly think that true if put that in your mind that you can’t do something, you end up not having the courage to do it.one of her fear she stated that people will laugh at her or someone have done it before. At of her five fear list those two I can relate to. She stated how everything has been done before, and nothing is really original if you really look at it in her point of views. Also so what if people laugh at you what do you have to lose. Creativity is learned from the painful experience of going about it in the worst possible way. You also learn a lot of things though experience in life.
